In Mrs. Plante's Math Class...
Our new focus is volume of a rectangular prism and a cube. UNIT TEST FRIDAY 3/6
HERE is the parent letter outlining what your student will be learning. 
Standards:
MGSE5.MD.3 Recognize volume as an attribute of solid figures and understand concepts of volume measurement.

Reminder, on Tuesday-Thursday from 7:20-8:00 am the students can come to my room and reassess any math standard they received a 1 or 2 on via Quizizz. Please review their report card with them, so they know what standards they need to reassess.

This week in Mr. Brumbelow's Class....

We will continue reading Ice to Steam by Penny Johnson. Our spelling words are listed below. We will not be having a vocabulary test over these words, but it would certainly help each student's comprehension if they were familiar with these words. They will receive a paper copy of these words on Monday. 



We will also continue our NBI groups, System 44, and Read 180. For the students that remain in my classroom during this segment, we will be transitioning back to a fiction text for this NBI cycle.
